  • iTunes Extras and 4K needed

This is such a classic; my only concern is where are the Special Features and iTunes Extras for people to watch? This is really annoying when the Special Features appear in the Home Video releases of movies but not on iTunes.
  • No LA Spanish delivered

This is a great movie! I have watched it since I was a kid almost every year. There is a problem with this itunes version regarding the Spanish audio. I bought it because it promised Latin America Spanish audio, but it comes only with Spain Spanish audio. The phrases and idioms are very different between the two audio versions and that changes the interpretation tremendously. For this particular movie, I would like apple to provide also the the LASpanish since it is the one I remember from childhood and the reason why I bought it.
  • A True Classic!

This movie is truly one of the best that was ever made. Even tough it's a work of fiction, it happens within true events. I loved the characters and I especially loved what they did with Jesus in this movie. You have got to see this movie!

  • Cropped??

This masterpiece was shot in "Camera 65”! For the younger fans that is wider than 16X9!! The film stock used was 60mm (that is sharper and more beautiful than HD!) We can’t re-create the majesty that is 60mm but we can at least get the Camera 65 aspect ratio right. I’m surprised that apple could not find the correct source material for this.

  • Beautiful

I've been watching this film every year since I was six. With each succeeding year, I have developed an even great appreciation for it. When I first saw it twenty years ago, my thought was,"Wow. What a cool story!" Now, when I watch it I can fully appreciate the depth of the story. When Lew Wallace wrote the book, he was determined to represent people in as accurate a way as possible. He was all also determine to represent Christ with as much respect as possible. The director and writers for the film picked up on both of these concepts and did not betray either. Christ is seen not as the titular character but as the one who heals all ills: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. And, the characters are as real as any person today might be: They are angry, loving, loyal, hurt, wicked, flawed, and searching (as we all are). This is an epic of people, not empires or action. And, it is beautiful for the truth it portrays.
  • Ben Hur

By A tale of the Christ
The name is appropriate; though the face of Jesus is never shown, his power and grace are magnificently portrayed. The most moving scenes are those depicting the Savior. Those who focus on the sea battle and chariot race, seem to have missed the message of the film. Charlton Heston is perfect for the title role, and in my opinion, is the best actor ever, staring in the title role of the best movie ever. All of the acting is great. The action and story telling are unmatched. The music is powerful, and helps tell the story by creating the mood. Movies today are often non-stop action, with story telling left in the wake. Ben Hur is lengthy for a reason; the story is worth telling. At the end of this movie viewers are emotionally fatigued, not simply tired of sitting.
